For most people from Europe, 5 pm BST would be either too early, or exactly during dinner time, so that wouldn't seem like a good idea.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: MA kit suggestions« on: 2 Apr 2015, 18:52:27 »
Only 2 things I want.
1. Add a class for axes. 2. Give arches infinite arrows, PLEASE. If I go solo into MA, my arrows are all gone by the time I reach wave 20. And then you only have a leather armor and wooden sword. Other classes are just so much stronger right now. 32

Yeah, time for me to leave a reply here as well. Before the Network Update I never had any lag whatsoever. Now I am experiencing heavy block lag multiple times a day. Only made things worse for me.

Server Announcements / Re: Spawners galore!« on: 2 Jan 2015, 14:27:22 »So spawners are only allowed in Towny, because you said "town"? No, personal spawners in wild are very much so possible. He just said that, for a town, 3 million is absolutely nothing. A bunch of active players can easily get that together in a week or so. 36
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Anti-Sniping on auction« on: 1 Jan 2015, 03:57:33 »...to control the sniping, maybe something could be added into the auction so that a bid in the last minute adds 5 minutes to the time-this gives somebody a second chance to get what they want (and adds another 5 minutes) and gives the seller a better sale. The "fair value" everybody wants will be better reflected this way. This was also what crossed my mind. Add in another checkbox when making an auction. If the box is checked, make it so that the auction gets extended if a bid occurs in the last few minutes before the auction ends. If the box is unchecked, just let the auction end at the set date. Making it an option to check/uncheck allows people that want to have a chance at a high offer (and against sniping) can check it, while allowing for people that WANT to have that item sold at X time because that's when they need the money, or when it's for useless items that people could otherwise troll by purposely extending the auction by bidding the minimum higher amount of noobz everytime to just leave it unchecked. 37
Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Anti-Sniping on auction« on: 31 Dec 2014, 22:28:22 »How are we supposed to get an item on the auction at the last second if someone bids more than you have on it before you can? Isn't the whole purpose of an auction that the ones that are willing to pay the most for an item get it, regardless of who "wants" it most? If he bids more than you have on it before you can, he would've also bid more than you have after you can. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Anyway, simple anti-sniping rule. Force people to set a buyout price. Do you really want an item that badly? Pay the buy-out. If not? Well too bad if you don't get it, it won't be the last time you don't get something you want. And realize that anytime you do manage to buy something you also take it away from other people that won't get it. 39

Winter has arrived in the dome! Will probably see if I can make a neat little Christmas tree somewhere.
Anyway, I'm back and looking to build again. Will get a /visit going sometime soon and looking to get 16 new plots for another 4 domes. 40

Noobstown General / Re: How does one earn more Nbz?« on: 17 May 2014, 19:04:16 »
Mine at least 16 diamonds a day, sell 16 every 24 hours in /shop for 19.200 noobz, vote every 24 hours for 2500 noobz. Use the XP from mining to enchant diamond tools, sell them, sell the cobble from mining, have a little farm to harvest from every day. So many options.

Server Announcements / Re: April Top Voters!« on: 7 May 2014, 00:01:58 »
I meant more like announcing the number of votes only at the end of the month, together with announcing the numbers. That way you won't have the risk of people giving up halfway through the month because they can't win, but I'm just curious at the end of the month when I see a winner's list like this just how much they've actually voted.

It might take a while to get to the place you want, since there's no teleports, just walking. But as long as you have the coordinates of a place, you can just walk over there and see your V5 builds. 47

I don't quite understand what the problem is...? The V5 museum world has the entire V5 map to be visited. Not just Noobstown, but also all other towns and wilderness builds.

It's been 2 months of silence(!), but after a nice break and a very fortunate discount on donation chunks for easter and another decrease in the wilderness plot prices I've been able to finish my project =) So without further delays, here's what I'd been planning! Here's a few pictures. If you want to see the whole thing up close, just tpa to me and I'll let you look around.
Facts: - The entire complex is 97 chunks - Almost 35.000 glass was used to make the domes. |
