Hey all, we have not made much progress since stage one as we are following Meshpet's design. She has been absent for about three days now. I thought we would finish the server much quicker, as this has occurred we may have to open without the town finished. This is sad because I wanted everything to be perfect for the return, never mind. [pig]

As you may know the new Noobscraft website has advertisements, the adverts that have been placed on the site to help towards the server each month for every click we earn money to spend on the server. This is an added bonus to pay for the server each month. I hope you understand why we are using the adverts

Okay so I have been working on some new plugin's and features for the new release of Noobstown.
Here is the list of features that you will see in v3:
Type /admin (followed by a message to send a direct message to Fatnoob's desktop computer) Easy way to get my attention.
Resident - Protect Wilderness houses from Griefers easily by spending some Nz's!
PvP - By deafult PvP will be disabled, to enable it type /pvp on then to disable /pvp off (You will have to wait 2mins to disable pvp has pvp has a cooldown) EPIX WoW term :poptart:
Chunkload - Stuck in a missing chunk (world hole)? type /chunk to load it out!
Tutorial - The tutorial room will now be a first spawn area! this means typing /spawn will take you to the teleport room instead of the tutorial.
Games - MOB ARENA, TETRIS, BATTLESHIPS AND MORE!
Minecarts - Minecarts will now move by there selves no redstone!
Pressure port - We are using pressure pads to teleport
Hello, on the new server you can buy the land in the wilderness you own. So you want to live in the wilderness with out the annoying feeling of always waiting to be griefed. Not any more say hello to iConomyLand. You can buy protected land with the hard earned money you make.
Hey all I am so sorry about the recent mess that the server is in, yes we have started again and we are working hard to get back online. This may take a week, I am going to try get something sorted that I can host a free roam do anything you like while we maintain and fix up the server world. That world will obviously be temporary meaning nothing will be saved just have fun and TNT s**t.
When we return I will try and make thing easier and smoother, going to get a backup script and some other server protection. We will be live streaming the development of the server if you would like to watch.
I am also going to start a fresh with the economy, that means your money will be at 30 when you join the game. The shop will also be returning along with Towny. I am looking into a plugin where you can buy land to protect your wilderness houses.
What about my stuff?
I am going to give everyone that states they would like compensation a present below when the server is online.

Hello, I'd just like to clear some stuff up about our current world. Yes, we have made a new world and yes the old world was hacked/glitched and was deleted. I hate fractions as much the rest of you, but its a way to protect the towns. Towny has caused many issues with Towns and it's just not safe to use any more. I adore the plugin and can't wait for it to be fixed. The shop, the shop will be returning and functioning as normal in the week to come.
By the shop returning I mean giving you some item buy ability's and complete item selling ability's. PvP will also stay in the server but soon you will be able to toggle on/off if you want to get take part in PvP.
Noobstown, yes the town is very temporary and looks like someone took a huge s**t in our minecraft world. I will be remaking Noobstown over the coming weeks. I hope you all understand that this is not my fault and that we are working hard to restore Noobscraftia as we know and love it. Bare with the server, please do not leave. I won't let you all down.
Over the next coming weeks we will be seeing new events and features such as:
- Mob arena - Pig riding - Live support (Website) - More ways to earn (Nz's) - Games (Tetris, Battleships and more) - Party's - PvP tournaments (Win 30k Nz's)
I will begin to start the new server, add plugin suggestions below. The new server won't take long to open we are adding a small starting area easy to follow and then everyone can get PvP raiding!
I believe someone has hacked our server and deleted the world. This has followed by many crashes and restarts and I am getting extremely annoyed at minecraft. I don't know what the future of Noobstown will be at the moment. Sorry all
Sorry about the misleading title, but, I will be going on Holiday sometime in July. This should not effect the server at all, apart from Waterworth will be taking over the server for a week or so, please treat him with respect like you do me and go by his decisions. Waterworth will be also handling donations and other server related issues, he is pretty new to the server side of running things so bare with him, I will try and show him as much as I can before I leave. :blush:

As you may know we are adding live support to the site, this will be used the same as In game apart from its easier for Operators and Admin's to handle. Simply call one of the mods for grief, donation, town, bugs and other issues and an online operator will answer your call immediately. After answering your call, the operator will then be able to directly help you in Noobstown once the issue has been notified.

I am going to give you some helpful tips to reduce Minecraft LAG!
Tip 1: Most common way to reduce lag. (Easy)
Copy these settings and you'll be on the right way to a lag free Minecraft life style. (THE PERFORMANCE SETTING SHOULD HAVE BEEN POWER SAVER)
Tip 2: Open up task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get started)
Giving direct running power to Minecraft can significantly reduce lag, you can do this by opening task manager.
Once task manager is opened click the processes tab. Click the memory tab to check what Is hogging memory on your computer, if these programs are useless and insignificant right click and end process. Minecraft on task manager should be called "java.exe" this is because Minecraft runs from Java. Right click on Java and go down the menu to "Set Priority" change the Priority to High (Do not use real time can cause computer issues).
Now your Minecraft should run smoother.
Tip 3. Mods
There are numerous of mods that can help improve computer performance, such as change the render distance of chunks so that you are not loading silly chunks that you aren't using. You can find these on Minecraftforum.net Under "Released Mods"

That a list of issues and is growing fast, I hope you understand we have hit stability meaning we have a playable version. This however does not mean it is 100% bugg free!
After many long hard days of trying to get the server up to the correct version, it has finally paid off. Bukkit released a stable version earlier today, as our players are now aware Bukkit can cause problems when Minecraft releases a new update, this should now not be the case as a (stable) version was released. I hope you enjoy the new version, be sure to check out the nether. Lets hope the updates to come aren't as bad as the previous versions.

I would just like to inform you all with a weekly update, this helps everyone know what is going on with the server. I have received many personal messages this week about the server, the server is currently running version 1.5. I know you all want to play 1.6 and myself included, its just not possible to update at this time. Why? you may ask, well we run the server off something called Bukkit, bukkit supplies all the plugins. We can't update until Bukkit released a stable build, once bukkit updates I will upgrade the server to 1.6 instantly.
Changes to Noobstown in 1.6
Town prices are rising, upkeep and price per town block. This is due to the rapid increase in towns, the price is obviously too low. Noobstown will also be reducing the amount of items in the shop and the prices. Trading will be implemented on the update, this means you will be able to trade items between players. Operators will now be able to answer tickets with the new upcoming ticket system, simply send a ticket directly to an operator. When an Operator logs in they will be able to check the tickets and reply to them as soon as possible. We may also make the nether a PVP only zone.
Teleportation Hub:
We are also adding new rules to the Teleportation Hub, towns that have at least 10 residents are allowed a portal, this will rise when the server popularity increases. Inactive towns will have there teleport removed.
I am deeply sorry that some of our players are unable to downgrade, I have made a short tutorial on how to downgrade. I do hope this helps most of you guys and that you can login and enjoy Noobstown.

As some of you may know many users on Noobstown have found I bug with the shop, as of tonight this bug will be fixed and there will be changes to the shop.
For starters, It is too easy to earn money. I am adding less items to the shop and the buy price will be higher than the sell price, this means only rich players that want to be lazy can buy everything from the shop. This also creates I use for trading, I will be adding a trading plugin so users can trade between each other, this makes it more fun, you can run your own shops at your own prices.
