Having a difficult time trying to start off finding a plot, though. 

you have to go a little ways from spawn and you can't be too close to anyone else. It may be difficult and you may have to travel a few days, but you'll find something! You get 10 plots for free! (they all have to be connected with one another though in order to be free).

When the server updated, anyone who had animals lost them due to despawning. So yeah...never forget.

Why do you want to become a resident of Windermere?: Because I want to live in a town with friendly people, and where I know my house will be safe. I also desire a community to Socialize with in a good manner.

Although people can get a little help from their friends, the money doesn't stop after they've bought the town and some people don't realize this. Towns are hard work, even after you've bought the town. I'm constantly buying plots, losing money from those plots and having to get more money for the town.

well VIP is where you donate real money to the server.
Supporter is when you've donated to the server but your VIP has run out.
Veteran can't be obtained at this time, unless you have tokens (which were given out at the end of V5 during various events and as incentive for those to continue playing on the server) where you can buy veteran.

Why do you want to become a resident of Windermere?: I would like to join Windermere so I may contribute and have a peaceful Minecraft experience to be honest. I'm looking for a town were I can relax, hangout and talk to members and maybe help out with the town. Again just looking for a non-hectic experience where I can contribute and make everyone else's Minecraft experience (whether it be in the town or the server) joyful. If they did say that everything is set in stone then the "Suggestions & Ideas" board would have no purpose. So, of course they are looking for suggestions but some of the community voiced ideas just don't cut it and will not be added to the server, you can't expect them to add everyone's ideas onto the server or else there would be chaos.

I'm not really understanding your point. Are you saying that there is a lack of freedom on the server? I can understand you to an extent but with two huge worlds and regenerating resource worlds (The Mining World, Nether and End), many plugins to enhance your survival experience (such as mcMMO, the auction and Towny) I believe there is a huge amount of freedom as you can do many things on the server. Fair enough there is slight restrictions on being able to build as you either have to buy a plot in a town or spend Noobz on chunks in the Wilderness world (which from my knowledge doesn't seem to cost extensively) to get lots of land, even then you may be limited to your expansion if someone else decides to build near you but I strongly believe there is a lot of freedom on the server.

Daniel is correct with his first point. We have the suggestion board for a reason and we read all the highlights being made. Not all of them are put into play but it's not that we don't listen. Again, at this time our main focus is V6 and with a few bugs currently in play, we're still working on fixing those bugs. It's always great to look towards the future but V7 is at least 4 years away, if not more and V6 hasn't even been out for a year.

We appreciate your thoughts with the future of the server.

This is an invitation to all Noobscrafters who may be going through a hard time or need someone to talk to. This is an invitation to tell your story to someone who is willing to listen. I'm going back to school (here in like 2 weeks) for my bachelor's in psychology with a speciality in addiction and recovery. People are my passion. Mental health is my passion. This idea that everyone matters, that people need other people and that you're living a story and that story matters.

I want to give more to this community that I love so much. I want this to be an opportunity for anyone who is struggling to know that someone is here willing to listen, I may not have the answers or advice but sometimes having someone to listen is enough.

So Windermere is coming along greatly! We've put together spawn and I am in the process of creating Gringotts Bank, which will be a place where resident mailboxes will be, town rules and other town essentials regarding residents. Shop plots are a work in progress. We've had a little bit of a setback with those but we'll be working out the kinks here within the next few days.

I don't see how they'll be adding anything else to the /shop for awhile. Of course, one more item couldn't hurt. I know someone was asking about sugar but it never hurts to at least make this suggestion.
