Hey all,

Just would like to wish each and everyone of you a happy and prosperous New Year! - We have some big plans for Noobstown in the New Year and look forward to sharing the development of these as the months progress, we hope you stick around and continue to support the server as you have for the past 3 (almost 4) years now and we can't thank you all enough.

Noobmas is now coming to a close and is your last chance to collect everything from the advent chests, so make sure you've taken everything from them! - We hope you enjoyed the events this year.

Our aim for 2015 is bringing the community closer, listening to player feedback and better connecting as a team of staff. We look forward to hearing all of your ideas on how to improve Noobstown and make the overall server experience more enjoyable for everyone. Overall, we are extremely happy with the release and developments since V6 was launched but would like to continue improving and enhancing the version as a community, we understand it's not perfect in its current state and we'd like to work with you guys to achieve that. Finally, we'd like to share some random interesting facts from 2014 since v6 started!

Noobstown Statistics 2014:

• We end the year with almost 39,000 registered members!
• 3,163 players registered to join Noobstown!
• 14,093 Minecraft players visited Noobstown! A new one on average every 30 minutes!
• A total of nearly 13 years worth of time was spent by players on Noobstown as a whole (6,747,520 minutes to be exact)! (A sum of all players' online time)
• Everyone together had a total of 473,000 mcMMO skill levels exactly!
• There were over 182,000,000 Nbz in the economy; 77% of which players had!
• The top 10 richest players accounted for 31% of the total server economy!

• The year ends with 35 towns!
• There were over 1,000 town residents!
• 8,645 chunks were owned by towns! (That's over 566,000,000 blocks owned by towns!)
• 36 new Towns were created!
• Skyside was the most commonly visited town spawn! It was visited 5,645 times!
• Ethereal had the most residents with 123!
• Windermere owned the most town land owning 860 chunks!
• There were 4 Nations!

• 581 items were in our selling catalogue; plus those same items available with enchants!
• 3,920 auctions led to the sale of the item!
• 7,773 bids were made!
• The auction with the most bids (48 bids) was for just 1 Diamond! It sold for 5,550 Nbz!
• The average auction item sells for 7,708 Nbz!
• A total of 30,217,019 Nbz was spent on the Auction House!
• The most expensive player auction sold ended up selling at 600,000 Nbz.

• A total of 44,740 items have been added to player's Web Inventories! A total of 1,347,635 individual in-game items!
• The player who has added the most items to their Web Inventory has added 13,323 items! And is currently still storing 3,058 there! (A total of 61,660 in-game items!)

• 2,846,448 commands were issued! 581,937 unique (completely different)!
• /kit food was the most popular exact command being used 76,891 times! That's 384,455 steak; equal to an average of over 190,000 cow lives we spared!
• /shop was the 2nd most commonly used exact command being used 66,812 times. That's a lot of selling!
• The /home options were used 205,161 times! The homes 'storage' and 'mine' were the most commonly used after the defaults 'home' and 'bed'!
• The most commands issued in one minute occurred on the 22nd of December at 5:16 AM!

• 2,242,891 chat messages were sent! Averaging almost 2 every minute!
• The most commonly said chat message is simply "lol", being said exactly like that 32,497 times!

• A total of 85,583,741 blocks were mined!
• A total of 21,146,926 blocks were used!

• The most commonly killed mob was the Skeleton being killed over 737,000 times!
• The most commonly killed animals was the chicken with over 98,600 of those being killed!
• There were 64,901 player deaths. With just 25,119 (38%) being caused by monsters.
• The most deadly mob was the Zombie, killing players 9,100 times!
• The most undeadly monster was the Wolf killing players only 38 times! Closely followed by the Silverfish which caused just 88 player deaths!

• Nearly 400,000,000 metres were travelled! (Over 247,337 miles!)
• 45,000,000 jumps were made! (More than one for every second since V6 began!)
• The most popular mode of travel after walking was by Horse (Accounting for 2% of all movement), even beating swimming and Boat!
• No one managed to visit all of the different Biomes Minecraft currently has to offer!

• 6,131 gifts were sent using /gift!
• Of all players mrfloris was sent the most!
• 331 gifts remained completely uncollected! (/gift collect)

• Visit locations were set a total of 1,954 times!
• Players were visited using /visit over 23,800 times!
• The most popular /visit player was Silverwolfje1985.
• Just 175 players had a valid visit location set at the end of the year! (/visit set)
• 51% of the /visit commands made take place in the Town World, yet...
• 52% of visits were set in the Wilderness World!

• A total of 144,313 animals were bred!
• Just 756 spawn eggs were used!
• The player who used the most spawn eggs used 121!
• 183,005 fish were caught!

• 28,143 crackers were pulled this Noobmas!
• 394 games of Snowball have taken place! (Since the 23th of December!)

• 336 unique clients connected to our TeamSpeak server!
• 149 clients were connected to in-game accounts!
• A total of 24,211 connections were made to the TeamSpeak server!
• Total connection time for all TeamSpeak users put together was almost 2 years worth of time!

• 933 new topics were made!
• 8,053 posts were made!
• 8,063 site personal messages were sent.
• The most users on the site was 468 on the 7th of February; the day V6 was released!
• We received almost 2,700,000 forum page views!

It's hard to believe V6 has been out for nearly a year. So much has been accomplished and many awesome changes have taken place throughout the community. I hope that we can expect many more prosperous years of Noobscraft to come!
