Countdown!!

As you may know a Countdown has appeared on the website, this will count down until the 19th of November 2011 at 0:00am GMT.

The server doors for v5 will open on the 19th for VIP's for three days to the 22nd and then the server will be open to all. We are opening for VIP's on the same day as the 1.9 release (Minecon) so expect little disruption at the start of our release while we update the server to the recommended build. The VIP's are acting as some what beta testers before the release so we can make sure everything is perfect for the players of Noobstown.

More information will be posted leading up to the release for both VIP and normal players, we hope everything goes smooth and we can have an enjoyable grand opening on the day.

v5, finally! I was wondering what that clock was for. I can't wait :D
PS. The server will be 1.9 straight away?

Hopefully Bukkit has known the date for quite some time and work along side Mojang I hope for a smooth update.

I just watched knowing so this is like a huge prediction for me that wil come true and will change the world XD
but not for the world...

Word around the internets is that the bukkit teams going to be at Minecon, so when Notch releases Minecraft 1.9, the bukkit team will do a simultaneous bukkit build for the latest version.
So it's up to then to detrmine how fast they can get it out and tested.
But I do not know this for sure, this may or may not be the case

well if they are at minecon they wil have a great time and maybe some cant come with them and they will update bukkit :P you never know what can happen

If you wish to take us up on the offer of the "Veteran" status; today is the last real day when donations will be paid and processed (providing they aren't e-checks) before V5 is released to Veterans. Just a note.

Donations made after today will mean you are NOT eligible to receive the "Veteran" status and will just become a basic "Supporter", plus you won't be able to access the server until at least 3 days after it is released to Veterans ;).
