Hello everyone,

We announced the Version 6.0 project on the 18th of March 2013 (Our Birthday) since then the staff team has been working throughout the entire summer preparing the version. With hours and hours of coding, planning, building, crying and sleepless nights.. we've gone through it all!

But, we are here now and excited to finally put a date on the last week of V5.

Version 5.0 will officially end on September the 14th (Early morning) 2013. A week or so after this date the Administration team will be putting together all the pieces. Preparing and thoroughly testing version 6.0 for release.

However, we can't end the version without celebrating all of our memories and good times we shared in version 5.0! So, from the 9th of September all the way to the 14th we'll be celebrating the end with fun and games. (Some which you might remember over the time of v5) Not only this! We'll be making a new Veteran each day until the 14th.

Stay tuned for the official last week time table Waterworth is preparing!

We would like to thank everyone who has stuck by us throughout this whole change over process because despite knowing the server was ending you still came on to support us and stuck by us. We highly appreciate you all and you have been our motivation to make version 6.0 the best version of Noobstown. So again, thank you.

I would also like to also personally thank our Moderation team who have been able to step in and take control of events and competitions when we couldn't. Making time to keep the community occupied. They have been online answering questions, calming players down and generally being there to support you guys from the word go.

Preparing version 6.0 has really taken away any time I and other Admins have been able to interact with you guys and create cool experiences in the server, we apologies and would like to make it up to you all once Version 6.0 is finally released.

The next big event after everyone has settled into version 6.0 will be Noobsween (October), one of our most favorite times of the year here at Noobstown! Noobsween will be packed full of fun world events, spooky happenings, competitions and of course a big party!

So how long do,you think the server will be down for, is it possible to put up a temp server like there was in the past with some cool things?

It truly is the end of an era, your town, your friends, the entire landscape of the server change, but you can always still feel part of them all, but a reset is a venture into the unknown sometimes...

The server will be down for 1 week or so, this will give us time to transfer the world, test plugins etc.

As far as I know, there won't be a temporary server, however MineApoc will still be up so you can play there if you wish.

It's a shame I'm banned.. I'l miss out on the week end part/end of V5.9  I don't know if I'm allowed back on V6 yet or not.
