Hey all,

Sorry for lack of updates lately! The machine was finally handed over to us this past weekend and we were able to move all the important data from the old machine. We are now setting up everything, testing and finishing off some development. Our time has been very limited lately due to re-starting studies at University, but alas, we are getting closer now. Can almost taste it!

Just a quick note: We will only release on weekends (Friday-Sunday), so those who are worried about a week release, don't be!

We'll also update you all plenty of time ahead of the release, so you can all prepare and re-schedule some of your time

That's all for now, hope you are all doing well and keeping close! We'll see you all again soon.

Thanks for the update, great to see that everything's moving along well currently. It's also good that you're not forgetting your studies, it's not so important you need to start failing a class immediately just for this. :L

If it doesn't come out this weekend and is the next we will have been waiting almost a month...and yes ik there's a lot they have had to do. This is depressing each weekend u find out u gotta wait another week...then another..then another.

When I was in college, I had absolutely no time during the week outside my studies. Running a server would have been out of the question. Summers and breaks i spent working full time. Tip of the hat if you are able to do both. And no, I don't miss it one bit (college that is

Please release on a sunday so i can join in as i am at college friday day time and at work friday night and saturday so i always miss the events and everything and i dont want to miss the launch

Friday at midnight BST would be nice for releasing the veterans early access just not on the weekdays I can't play a lot then

if they release on a friday or a saturday my veteran headstart will be pointless because by time i can get online v6 will be nearly 48 hours old

Unfortunately they won't be able to cater to every individual person. There's going to be at least one person, no doubt more, that are going to end up not being there for the release. It's just physically impossible to make sure that everyone is able to be there, unless we want to wait weeks and maybe even months for every person's time schedule to open up.

I'm sure they'll take into account when the biggest amount of people will be able to get online and open on that day however.

i hope v6 will be ready soon. hopefully before october 12. then for me it'll be pokemon X version for the entire weekend...possibly. but i cant wait seriously i can't wait...

I don't mind waiting another week as long as the pre-1.7 fixes are included right from the start.

The latest snapshots had a lot of fixes and bugs compared to previous ones and most of them involved gamebreaking things (from completely corrupted structures to bugged mobs spawning etc)

The redstone update by comparison was a minor one >_>

V6 probably won't come out until Minecraft 1.7 is released, so they can use the new biomes like the mesa, savanna, birch forest etc. to generate the world. This means they would have to take the time to port the server and its plugins to 1.7.
