Server down / Update (Read 6754 times)

Due to complications with our current Data centre we are not able to retrieve version 4, So we are quickly pushing out our final version of Noobstown. The server should be done over the next few weeks, we are setting up a 1.8 vanilla server for anyone who wants to play on Noobstown while the main version is being created. We are going to be accepting builders to come and join us and New Operators over the next few weeks, again sorry for the complication we are trying hard to get things sorted.

Money & Stats should be safe and we are making that our number one priority, town owners will be refunded the price to buy a town again.

To clairify is the server up? if it is will there be scheudled down times for you and the staff to build more of Noobstown or anything else that needs attending to? Is the 1.8 server up yet?

The server will be up later for all to play, that's the 1.8 temporary vanilla server.

Sorry but the first post kind of confuesed me but I just updated to 1.8 and now waiting for the server

I asked Matt to ask you to safe my town so I can use it in single player
did you get that before you lost the data?
and I still had an almost full chest with iron blocks 18 diamond or so and 3 double chests with dirt, 3 double chests with cobble and 1 double chest with sand 1 double chest with sandstone 1 normal chest with wooden planks, 1 normal chest with 5 full stacks of normal wood, 1 double chest with gravel, 3 double chests with pork, 2 double chests with apples, 3 golden apples, 3 double chests with bread, 1 normal chest full with cake, around 10 stacks of redstone.
will I get those back?
coz if I knew about the map thing I would have sold the sellable stuff first
and I would have around 100-200K extra
and will we get money for claiming the land 2?

can you please awnser those 3 questions?

Basically our data centre decided to not give us the data back for the server, I managed to keep the money and stats. The last 15hours or so I have been trying to contact them to ask for them back, they want me to pay to get the stuff back... I declined.

Linda good questions, but i don't think Joe should pay to get our data back, Just think, the map will be fresh so you can get all your new stuff back plus more, i know it will be a big loss to me as well but i cant wait till the new server anyway, He(Joe) has already put lots of time into the server and still is continuing to, Thanks again Joe for such a dedicated server
