So guys, although the server hasn't re-opened, I have some news about what is going on. There were a few mishaps with the plugins, specifically McMMO, that resulted in it having to be reset. The outcome is that there is no longer anymore accounts of your money or your skills. In short, you will have to restart. The map is fine, it is the money and the skills. We are deeply apologetic and understanding of the great grief that this is causing. However on thing about the reset is it will clear the slate of the damage caused by the exploit in the previous version. Those who went undocumented with gaining large amounts of money through exploitation will have the opportunity of profiting from actual work. This was not done purposefully, it just panned out this way, so we might as well look at the upside.

Thanks for your cooperation in the past 24 hours as we dealt with the issues and I hope you are willing to join us in the re-opening of the server soon after everything is sorted out.

lawrence you said there was a backup of the money and the stats and that everyone would get their stuff back
I have lost all my money from my town bank and all my money I had over a million hard earned money T.T
please cant there really be something done T.T

The server is now running from a database rather than using a flat-file system, it is a lot faster and reduces the loads on certain aspects of the server, thus reducing lag.

Linda You know that Joes tried very hard to get it for us, Obv, it shows because the servers been off for over 24 hours, most of that time he was trying to get the server back up for all of us.
Just accept that he cant keep all the money and stats.

Ive kept playing and lost a lot of time in all of that.
when our skills got reset before toghether with a big rollback
I felt down for a while
but I got it back up
gained a lot of skills
became the richest person from everyone on noobstown
and it felt so good
but to see it fly away like a feather in the wind is...

OUR STUFF WAS BACKUPED T.T
so our stuff should still be there somewhere

so it should be possible

Sorry but i dont think he can do anything about it, Atleast you still get your vip stuff again, that gives you a boost above people again, yes it might have took ages but you should have atleast had a thought that this might happen because its happened in prevouse versions.

So we lose everything again? This sucks.. i already lost all my skills once, and it took so much work to get them back to a fraction of what they were. As for money i did have over a million which i earned through hard work mining for days! I was going to put it all into rebuilding the town and making it great, but guess that won't happen now.
I am really really disappointed at this result. Might as well just leave the server, all the hard work i put into getting ready to rebuild has just been taken away in one move. I'm sorry, i know you guys work hard maintaining this server and i know pluggins are hard to deal with, but having to start over from absolute 0 is just way too much..

Whats with all the depression guys? So you loose everything in the game, so what? your not the only one that has to suffer for it remember. Yes someone will say its all fine for me as im an OP but even if i wasnt i wouldnt leave. Yes it may take time to get it all back. but you have that time. And the least you can all do is stay on the server after all the hard work Joe has put on it to get it running for us.

I gained all my money and stats completely legit! It is hardly fair that because some people exploited the game all my hard work counts for nothing! With the price increase in towns rebuilding will now take forever, when it should instead take only a couple of days work... And as for things that were built still being there not much was built anyway, so it doesn't really affect anything...
I hate the fact that all that hard work i put into this server is simply gone. It is a terrible feeling.....

Joe didn't have to let you keep your money over the reset but he was nice enough to plan on doing it, and now it doesn't happen but now you can have fun getting it back. The economy was destroyed last version with everything, I think it'd good to have a fresh start. If your truly appreciative of the countless hours that has been put into this server you will accept the loss and see it as an opurtunity to have fun and get it again.

I just cant leave bcoz I donated 16 pounds to the server
