Joe didn't have to let you keep your money over the reset but he was nice enough to plan on doing it, and now it doesn't happen but now you can have fun getting it back. The economy was destroyed last version with everything, I think it'd good to have a fresh start. If your truly appreciative of the countless hours that has been put into this server you will accept the loss and see it as an opurtunity to have fun and get it again.

its not fun to have to repeat all your hard work over and over again for half a year just see it all dissapear again.
so I really can not just eccept this
maybe everything can be cheated back by ops or joe or icebox for the ones who want it back

thats great to hear lawrence but just so you know I HAD 1.3 MILION NOOBZ LEGALY WITH HARD WORK FOR MONTHS
NOW I have only 5nbz
and thats not even close to 100nbz!
and that will be only for one grid of 16 x 16 !!!

Thats a good thing! I'm glad to hear it! Props to Joe and everyone else for their hard work.

I am still quite sad at the situation tho.. i put a lot into this server and right now i feel like it was for nothing..

Bearer of bad news eh? Just everyone redirect their anger at me, I have twin sisters, I'm used to it. But on a side note, alot of us have been here before through all these resets and we will be there again. In a sense we are a family and if you are willing we can get through this together.

More good news, it is my belief that VIPs will receive all of their money again. *hopes that is true *

if i can help ill tell you the best way to avoid being bummed about a reset like this....this helped for me as iv been through um i think this is the 4th reset and im not a vip so ive never gotten nuttin back....give up on being a town owner its a lota freakin work most the time the server will reset bought the time you get it going good anyways....use what you mine wood and stone can be beautiful and blends well with the world...build massive monuments or things in the wild...the way i look at it whatever you build will be griefed at some point if its griefed to bad they can allways do a rollback...another option is buying a plot in a town if you feel this will keep your stuff any safer usually dont lol.....i think the shop is priced about right and 10k a day is easy made....im not trollin or complaining thats just the way it goes ..got to remember this game is beta plus were shoving mods and plugins in least the vip's will most likley get there stuff from donations joes been prety loyal about that from what i read...have fun with the game make new friends build awasome things...remeber a sand castle is wiped away every day doent make it less beautiful or cool.....all i need is a torch an axe and some food i live off the land  : )

ummmmm 300 mining i think i had that like in version 2... lost my first town in version 2 also so i know your pain lol..i would guess my mining should be like 800-900 at least if you added it all up and im sure others that have been here a while know what your going through.....what you going to do with 500,000 noobs build a clubhouse lol jk..you will start with nothing and like it sir.....sorry another joke not to make light of your pain/misfortune...but in all seriousness if you start a new world wouldnt you want to start a new economy fresh skills fresh.....dont get me wrong id love to have the town of fairborn back and my skillz all beffed up to 500 + and 100k in the bank so id never have to mine again....but now i gave all that up i enjoy exploring more surface mining a fresh world is sweet i see more things people build have more fun and i can laugh when people freak out that they lost everything because ive been through it as many others.......you know joe could say its to much hassle and work to keep noobs/money in the game . then we would all be in the ditch diggin our own goodies lol

Afew minutes ago I cleaned a toilet while waiting for the server.

The skills and money reset stinks, especially for people like Linda who have invested a considerable amount of time and built such a bank roll. Everyone agrees that it stinks. Now, I've only been here a short time (less than a month), but in that time I feel that I've gotten to know a few of you and I've seen how you talk about Joe when he's there and when he's not (positive in both cases) so from that I can tell that you respect him and trust him. In my oppinion a person who's gained this sort of respect did so by being fair with people that interact with him. I'm sure that he has done everything in his power to make this reset negatively impact people as little as possable. Now, my skills were very high; this hit me too (I was above Linda in mining and excavation skill points) but I didn't mine to get my skills high; I mined because I enjoyed it and I enjoyed (for the most part) hanging out with everyone here. My skills went up as a result of doing what I enjoyed. I guess the best way to look at this (for the competitive) is as a restart of a race. When the server comes back up it is sort of like a starting pistol going off. When the server reset, that last race ended (Linda, you won! Awesome!). Now it is time to race again, not because you want to win but because you enjoy racing.

I'm glad that you see it from a different perspective now, Linda: you are one of the people that I've enjoyed getting to know on here.
