We would firstly like to thank everyone who took part in the memories competition. All of the entries are fantastic, each individual and personal memories that gives a true feeling of how much the community has grown since the start and end of v5. The entire Admin team has read each and everyone of them and come to a group decision, we would like to congratulate Brianta101 as our winner of the competition, she will earn herself v6 Veteran, 8,000 Tokens and a guided tour of the v6 spawn (Once we contact you).

The following runners up will receive 1,000 Tokens

Building - 80% (Final Build Stream part two announced soon)
Custom Server Plugins - 65%  (Largest plugin out of the way, focusing on the small ones) Huge milestone
Webside - 30% Work has begun on the webside of the server


As you can see we are almost there, everything is coming together and we are looking forward to the highly anticipated release of V6.

Our Wilderness World protection system - Chunky is pretty much complete. The system itself is going to completely reform Wilderness living on Noobstown and hopefully make it a happier place. You could almost compare the system to the Towny plots without the restrictions of expansion and with a lot more added goodies.

Another larger update is planned for later this month including a new server video trailer for v6 and the final overall information post for v6.

This is the largest and most adventurous update we've ever done on Noobstown and it's taking a long time, we aren't too far away now though. The aim for release is some time during August (next month), no exact date just yet but we are aiming for the month itself. Of course if we hit any brick walls we'll have to delay the release further but until then will continue to work towards our goals. Thank you all again for your continuous support and dedication to the server as this drives us to work harder, we appreciate it.

YES! It will be here soon! Although I can't wait, I hope I get enough time to get onto top 100 and ensure myself a position where I won't be at risk of getting knocked off of the board.

Some quick V6 questions
Will villagers spawn, in normal villages, but be unable to trade?
Can villagers spawn from a villager spawner?
Will villagers clear in clag, because if there in villages then it would be nice to keep the villages occupied.
Will there be larger mining world?
Can the nether work on the same wild chunk system as the normal world if we want to built a base there?
Or can we put outposts in the nether again

5. Semi-Permanent worlds won't be protected nor will offer the player any real benefit from wasting money/chunks protecting with the restart of the Nether/End/Mining every month or so.

Will pistons still have that sorta enoying delay?

The pistons is what lagged the server sometimes, the delay is to stop it from going on and off 24/7(With repeaters etc), as that causes lag. So I would think they still will have the timer.

Is there going to be a download link for the v.5 world

No, But, They will be a museum world in v6, where you can look at your old house again.
