V5 Will be out at some point today for Veteran's only, Bukkit are currently working on an update live at Minecon shouldn't be too long.

the people who have been with the server since v1 and and, depending on how involved we are with the community, will we be allowed on a day or so earlier?

and i myself have tried to donate, the thing is, is that A: i do not have a credit card and B: i wouldn't be allowed to donate with another family members card.

We cannot make exceptions just for you, it wouldn't be fair. And it wouldn't be fair to not reward those who have donated. Plus as I mentioned in another topic, these first 3 days of V5 are likely to turn into more of a testing and bug fixing time as we attempt to prepare to give all users access.

Whenever Bukkit release their version of Minecraft 1.0.0

. Once that happens it won't be long at all before V5 is up for Veterans.

if i'm correct then no, Veterans are people who donated before V5, and VIP's are all the donators once V5 has been introduced.

Almost there:

Veterans are people who donated before V5 as you said.
Supporters are people who donate once V5 has been introduced.
VIPs are people who decide to upgrade their "Supporter" account, using the Points you get for donating now.

Veteran Is pretty much the exact same as a VIP, but just that veterans are people that have donated before v5

I don't see how you can view one as better than the other, but the only thing i can see about a Veteran being better than a VIP is that they get 3 days early access to V5.

They are exactly the same thing, other than VIP isn't unlimited it only lasts for 30 days. Whereas being a Veteran lasts forever.
