disappearing items when chest is removed
« on: 3 May 2012, 01:01:28 »
Ok so i have been on the server for about a month now and have had no problems except for now. So for the time me (jman6776), megasniperb, and zeel01 have been of the server we have collected many enchanted items.
so i decided to sell some to make some noobs to add on to our town so i brought 2 chests up out of the town so people could open the chest to see the items and i sold a couple and i had to get off soon. So i decided to pick up the chest so i broke one side of the chest  with a axe and all the items came out  so when i went to mine the second half i mined it with an silk touch pick and when i did only the chest became a drop and the rest of the items did not come with it so i started to freek beaus half of my enchanted stuff ( 3 silk touch picks, and a full set of protection 4 armor (this it just some of the stuff that i was rely worried about)) just got deleted. After doing a little freeking i called for a mod and licksterboy (a mod)came to help me we talked about this and said he will contact an admin but i haven't herd back. hope to hear back soon, jman6776
love the server

That sounds familiar.
If you haven`t picked up any of the items that came out of the first chest, it may be that the items that dropped should have dropped out of the second chest fell victim to a limit on itemdrops laying around (used to reduce lag).

no because the fist set came out of the chest but its just when i removed the socound one with a silk tuch pick the chest came up but the items did not come out

I would also like it if a admin responded soon i was going to use those items for the pvp match in a month.
