You can either apply for a stall in Market District in Noobstown ( http://www.noobscraft.com/trade/apply-for-a-market-stall!/ ) , or for a shop plot in one of the towns.

All shops are working using chest/sign shops. Instructions on how to make one are here ( http://www.noobscraft.com/trade/how-to-set-up-a-stall/ )

The market stalls are very pointless now since the Noobscraft team is going to be updating the way we all trade, we only have 3 days left of the market stalls.
