I would just like to point out that Noobstown is the first (and currently only) server I have become a moderator of. Very true that it's difficult at first, all of us can tell you our fair share of our first-week troubles as mods. However, I wouldn't say Noobstown is a bad server to become a first-time mod. In fact, I'd say quite the opposite. It just takes a bit of time to understand how moderation works and how you're supposed to carry out your duties.

Additionally, moderation shall become MUCH more streamlined and simple in V6. All of the staff members have been preparing unique methods of handling our various duties on the server and we hope that it will continue to improve the efficiency of the server.

Bottom line, I would say, if you want to be a moderator, go right ahead and apply! We can't guarantee you a spot, but we can encourage you to become a respectable member of the server, one that upholds the rules every time, and encourages healthy, family-friendly play in the server as a leader among the regular members. More often than not, those that show promising leadership skills and kind-hearted demeanor in the server's chat and its functions are those that are the most likely to become staff members.

Well this isn't the way to get the attention of the admins in order to become a mod. As Adrian said, there is a proper place to apply to be a mod...anybody who wishes to be a mod has to do it this way.
