locked chest destroyed by someone other then me?

i had a chest full of various colored wools and dyes (many from the new years party) and one day i found the chest gone! as well as 5 gold blocks, the gold blocks were fixed thanks to INEEDANAME but the chest was LOCKED and i found it destroyed, wool and dye gone! INEED tried all he could but he wasnt able to fix it, can any admin, or other mod, help me with the problem?

It sounds like to me nickolas, that the only person who could have destroyed a locked chests is an admin or moderator. I have done that a little more times than I would have liked to (meaning I meant to open it but instead I destroyed it) but I would have told the person about it. The only other way I think it could have been destroyed is someone had hacked maybe? I am not very familiar in the field but have heard of those incidents happening before. Other thank that nickolas, I don't think I will be much help. :/ Sorry.

i had used a wooden picaxe on the block where the chest WAS and it had said "chest destroyed by PenguiN_x"
if needed i will get a screenshot or you can come and see for yourself...

Are you sure you had locked it nick? If you did do what you said you did, we might have to have a little chat with this PenguiN person.

it's been locked even before chests didn't auto lock, i've had it a while and left it locked and with it, but then BAM, also do you need the screenshot?

in such case, can you get on? the history isnt going back enough to show the evidence
