They didn't re-gen the Nether did they? When I saw the portal was opened I tried /town outpost (should take me to my netherwart farm) and appeared in the middle of nowhere. And I noticed the nether spawn has changed.

If they did why wasn't there an announcement warning us to recover our stuff? And if not why am I TPing to the wrong place?

I think the nether was, yes. I tried using our town outpost as well and teleported to somewhere strange. Our town nether portal also does not lead to where it used to lead. Which makes me think it's not only just a reset nether but also a completely new nether map as well.

Towny also no longer seems to work in the nether, as I'd tried to /town claim something near where I'd teleported to after using the /town outpost but I was told towny wasn't supported there. I have no idea why I can still teleport using the /town outpost however. It makes no sense to me.

And yes, I'm also rather upset that we didn't seem to have any warning that the nether was going to be messed with.

Ikr i lost a netherwart farm and a blaze grinder and a couple of chests with loads of rods. i wish i knew they were going to reset it. :'(

The nether was bugged out allowing people to duplicate items, the only fix was to re-generate everything. Sorry for your loss.

May I ask why Towny no longer works in the nether? It certainly doesn't seem to at least, I tried to /town claim a portion right by where me teleporting there using /town outpost is, but it tells me that towny doesn't work in that world.

Well "sorry" does not make up for my lost netherwarts. Or all the work I put into making that farm.

Fatnoob couldn't really do anything else except from keep the nether closed, that would still include you losing all your items either way. I'm sure I have a little over a stack of netherwart, I'll give you 32 pieces to get started again, alright?

We "lost" an outpost too. We can still TP to it, but it's not actually there. :/

I think that for anyone with a nether outpost, the outpost should be removed, and the money refunded.

You will not be refunded. All users experienced the same issues; and all towny features in the Nether have now been disabled. We are sorry that the outposts were removed but this was as a security precaution to ensure that duplication bugs did not effect the wider Noobstown economy; if the bug is ever fully fixed then the outposts may become active again.

SWEET dose this also mean that neather warts will grow once more? or is that still being fixed on the back burner?
