Problem finding towns

So this might be the wrong place to post this.  If it is feel free to move it to a more suitable location in the forums. 
To my main point, I have been having trouble finding towns in Noobstown.  When I exit into the wilderness all I find are what looks to be remains of old towns.  Am I missing necessary mods or something to see everything?  Or am I just looking for towns in the wrong place?  I don't have enough noobz to buy a plot in a town, but would like to look around to see what would work for me in the future.

PS I am very new to MC so I'm sure even the most basic (even common knowledge to some) information would help!

As I read your "New" topic I know that you are fairly new to the whole Multiplayer of Minecraft, which is probably less complicated then you would think, when it comes to towns you can simply do /town list or /t list, this will bring up a huge list of towns that are scattered around the map, the name of the town and the amount of people in the town.

Then to get to the town you simply do /Town Spawn (Name) or /T Spawn (Name), both works the same :) If you need any more help then you can check this page:

Pretty hard to learn them all in 1 go so I suggest do a few reads from time to time and you will soon get it, or just ask people in the chat.
