Welcome to the thread for Dracomere, the town that focuses on MCMMO leveling along with having a marketplace!

If you wish to join the town you are not required to buy a plot, you are free to simply be in the town to use the various MCMMO things that we will be offering. If you wish to join you can either make a post on this thread or send a /mail to myself, TidalMewMew, Duelcon, or Entangled.

As this town will be mostly focused on providing areas for MCMMO leveling there won't be as many plots, however we will of course have plot districts for members to use if they so choose. Please don't use them as your main home however, considering you're very limited in space as compared to what you could have in the wilderness world. You also get free teleportation to your wilderness home chunks.

Town Assets
As this town will be focusing on MCMMO leveling as well as having a marketplace we'll have areas that you can level your MCMMO with, it also makes it extremely easy to level up within a party.
Currently what we have is:
-Herbalism
-Woodcutting
-Attack skills [A mob grinder straight from spawn]
-Giant lake for fishing, including iron blocks for repair at each "station"


What we have planned in the future:
-An acrobatics course
-A repair station with cactuses and a regeneration beacon
-PVP arena
-Giant 30-chunk large sugar cane farm for quick herbalism grinding

How can I use the town to the fullest?
You can always join up into a party with other players in the town, make sure that your party can EXPshare, which halves your XP and shares it amongst the members of the group. Then you and your party can go to the different stations and work on skills, sharing the XP to raise each of you.

This can work especially well when it comes to the herbalism/woodcutting skill, as the farms are close enough that one person can work on herbalism and one on woodcutting and both can increase the opposite skill at the same time. The more people you have working at the same time in close proximity the more XP you can gather

The rules of the town:
-All server rules apply
-We may not always have a plot prepared for you, please be patient if that is so. We'll provide a place to store your items at least.
-If you use the farms you are required to replant (This includes everyone not in the town)
-Do not exploit market stalls (TAs should go around them every so often to check if they're too cheap/high)
-Do not beg for ranks within the town
(Myself and the other TAs will be looking for people we trust to join the TA list. Simply go about your normal business, helping as you would and if we like you enough we'll add you. I apologize if that sounds rather biased, but I only accept people in power positions if I trust they won't abuse them)
-Building only to be in your plots
-If you have a building idea for the town in mind mention it to the TAs and myself. If we like the idea you may create a version of it in a creative mode to show us, if it looks good we'll allow you to create it within the town as well as find a spot for it to be.

Rules of your plots
-Do not mine your plot, please. There is a world for this and it will make it hard to sell the plot if you leave/sell.
(You may build below your plot, but unless you have a reason please don't mine it fully out)
-If you are inactive for one month without informing anyone you will be kicked and lose your plots.
(If you want to avoid this make sure you PM the TAs as well as myself to ensure we know you have a reason)
-Plots will cost 200Nbz each, so if you want four of them you'll be paying 800Nbz total

Looks good, gone be nice to be a part of this town, I might not have a plot in the town as I will mostly live in the wildy, as I said in my application, so I hope this is ok Twist :p

These are still just very basic builds to give an idea of what we're going for, things to come might involve more complex builds and redstone stuff to keep people entertained  ;)

It's certainly fine with me Miner, no one is required to live within the town. I myself will probably eventually want to build my own wilderness house to play around in. Maybe a kind of second storage area or something.

And any public building suggestions would be very welcome. Such as ideas for libraries/etc, anything that could be more of a decoration building is acceptable since the town probably won't be very big.

Love the spawn and the garden like area.

I was thinking that the wooden structure you were saying ignore could be used as a entrance to the farms split into 2 on each of those domes on the ends and the middle will walk through to next area or farms again.

And I like Darkwings public area, could include a little more floral arangements or/and vines but I understand they are concepts. Im just aidding with them =D

The garden crossway will be most probably used exactly as a splitter, not just for farms but also to divide districts/areas.

The current versions of the town plans include tiny public spots with a very specific purpose that would greatly benefit from a modular town expansion and the garden (with its variations) could very well be the above ground level. Almost like roundabouts on real life roads.

The work for the rail system is in progress, the town spawn will have a main station containing 4 lines organized as a central hub. At first we won't need all 4 lines so we'll build and open just what is needed.

This is the base design for the single line boarding platform module:




For each module there are 2 corridors (arrivals and departures) and 3 rail lines (arrivals, departures, maintenance), it's self-contained, all the redstone is protected and it will require minimal user interaction thanks to fine tuned automations and player detection.
A redstone lamp will signal the lack of minecarts which can be refilled from the main maintenance room.

Woah. Those railways look somewhat like what I had in mind for Utopia! They are nice terminals for sure :)

Town spawn is looking better than originally pictured.

Plots are available but recruitment isn't very high priority at this time.

Updated the first post in order to show the new additions to the town, as well as the town's new direction towards being an MCMMO-focused town, helping to provide areas for residents to level themselves up.

Once I create a nation then I will set up the farms so that allies in the nation are able to use the farms instead of just residents only.

Looking forward to anyone who wishes to join to help themselves to the assets we provide!

Small update regarding the railway system:

The first connection is in place and while it couldn't be done exactly as planned (pistons delay) it should still provide the same level of utility.

As soon as I'm sure that nobody can get hurt/stuck it will be open for everyone :D

Dracomere now officially has a large public mob grinder! Anyone has access to it, although you are required to behave while using the grinder. If someone else is using it you're to make sure that you don't run up and kill the mobs that are aggravated on them, as that is against the server's rules and is considered stealing from the player.

Feel free to cooperate with other players, join a party together to share XP! When you have ten bones from the skeletons feel free to summon a wolf to run around with you to raise taming up a bit as you go on. The beacons in the grinder will also help with your regeneration and defense as well.

We've added a Darkroom Mob arena for the training of weapon skills.  A parkour course for events and acro training.  Many other featurs and expansions are on going in the town.  To take a look, do:
