Windermere Staff Application

This thread will be solely for players interested in becoming staff of the up and coming town, Windermere. Windermere is a town in the process of being made and is still being discussed between myself and the submayor. Anyway, all and any town applications must be made in this post, not in a message to me or made in-game. Below you will find a form to fill out simply in a comment. If the application is not submitted in the way the form has been written out, it will not be considered.

Criteria for staff is as follows. Staff positions will be limited and given to those players who we feel is best for the job and will dedicate time and effort into the town and seeing that the town is in it's best shape possible. Prior experience is not needed but is preferred. If we feel you are suited for the job, I will personally contact you either in game or through a mail in game.

Staff Positions available:

Town Assistants: The main role of our assistants will be to help our residents around the town. You could consider yourself a moderator, enforcing the rules, helping people who don't know the towny plugin as much as you, and fixing problems that arise in Windermere. If you feel you can fit the bill, feel free to apply. (Remember to put your past towny experience in the past experience, so we can get a better idea of how well you know this complex plugin).
Architect: can build and destroy anywhere in town. We will need an architect with the ability to build big and make it look good. We are currently only searching for one architect at the moment. (Remember to put your building experience on past experience so we can get a better idea of your skill level).

Age: how old are you?

How Often are you on the server: Are you on for a few hours a day? Are you on all the time? Are you on for a few minutes? Etc.
Past Experience: Do you have any past experience dealing/running a town? Any past experience as a server admin? This can also include job or school responsibilities. Have you ever been a leader?
Why do you want to be staff of Windermere: Why are you applying for a position? Why should we choose you?
How long have you been on Noobscraft: How long have you been on the server? Both in previous versions and current version.
Other: any other additional information you'd like to leave.

I don't know if, it can be worked out , an embassy plot and ambassador assistant , I know this comes out of left field but maybe I can help this way.

Location- Frederick, Md. an hour NE of Wash. DC
Hours on server- My time on the server normally varies 3-8 hrs some days more some days Real life interferes
Experience- My experience was thrust upon me a couple years ago the server kept changing things, wiped out all towns and started Factions I stayed with the 2 mayors when they made the faction , then factions were wiped they became too busy to start a town the town assistant was still on the server when I asked Dbock if he was going to start a town he said as soon as he had the money, I had the money we started the town he asked if I wanted to be mayor, I declined, he made me VIP, as he became busy with HS ( and I think a GF ) he was kicked for inactivity, the server selected me Alphabetically, and I came on one day Mayor, with my first crisis , the town was low on money and would be wiped if taxes weren't paid , I had no help I was the only citizen, 2 others were kicked as well I used one citizens netherwart tower farm , harvested and sold to server shop, I did that every day to build up the towns treasury to very well off, recruited 2 assistants and grew the town to 24 citizens " A City !!!" , I built all of the town roads and plots , until we had no plots left, it seems one assistant had made 40 outposts and used them all up, Dbock had come back and I returned mayor to him which he lost to the other assistant who also could only be on for short periods of time, (Only a mayor can remove an outpost) next thing you know the moron running the server wiped towny again, I said Adios and joined a small server with some of the former disgruntled players I still have a small 4 citizen town built in the mountains with floaty plots and roads to preserve the natural beauty of the terrain.

I had to learn the commands on the fly , save the town build the town wave goodbye to my town

Why because you are a friend and I want to help, we have always gotten along well, I think you were one of my first new friends in V5.
How long with Noobstown , It's hard to remember exactly how long, It was just before the announcment of V6, I can check on that I joined Adrians Redskin_Nation, as soon as I found I liked the people here.

Past Experience: No town experience, but I am an experienced leader as I have participated in numerous sports events which have caused me to take initiative when leaders were lacked. I also did Leader in Training and Counsellor in training courses over the past 2 summers. Really enjoy teaching/helping others about things I am experienced with, and will take the time to do it, and make sure they fully comprehend.
Why do you want to be staff for Windermere: As a newcomer to Noobscraft, I would love to get a fresh start, and what better way to do that then make some new friends, meet some new people, and start out with a brand new town.
How long have you been on Noobscraft: Around a month or so, but I am very experienced with minecraft
Other: Proficient in building, redstone, generally everything. all around good knowledge about the game. Would love to be a town assistant, to help out with whatever needs done, and would absolutely love to help out newcomers in the town, and just newcomers in general. Willing to learn whatever is necessary to get the job done. I was thinking about Architect, but havent really built on an extremely large scale, and not exactly sure what were size were talking about here!

I'm usually on a lot now that I have VIP and mine pretty much all day.

Past Experience:

I have been a town mayor on various servers that has had the towny plugin. Also I own a server that I towny based. Lets just say I know what i'm doing, if it is perms, plots, etc.

Why do you want to be staff for Windermere:

There are many reasons why I want to be staff in Windermere, In this application I will list the most main and important points of why I should be staff. The first reason why I think I should be staff in Windermere is because of myself as a player. As a player I am very active to the server community. I am also very active on the server. Since it is summer and school is out I usually play all the time besides when I have Baseball. Also I consider myself very mature and even more mature than my age should be. While on the server I have gotten no chat related offences and I have never been warned about breaking any server related rules. I am also very helpful. For example if somebody needs a couple iron to make some iron boots I will help them. The only thing I am not helpful with is money and diamonds because those are more precious to me. Unless if its for town purposes then I might think otherwise. Also I feel like I fit in to the town a lot, I consider a few people in the town to be friends of mine including General_Gred and gamergirlxo. I feel like I have gotten a bond between them that might earn trust in the near future. Also i'm the kind of person that likes to get stuff done quickly but nicely and not to slack off while doing it. I also consider myself a pretty good builder if presented with the right ideas and or inspiration. But that obviously is based on opinion so others may rate me. With that said I also take criticism very well and usually nothing really upsets me, unless I die in lava that is very dreadful. I am also very experienced with the towny plugin and have been using it for at least a year and a half now. I know every towny command in the system. I also know how to properly use permissions and configure them. I don't know what staff position would best suit me, I guess that is for the bosses to decide. Also a little fact about me is that I have very good grammar and I'm a fast typer.

Past Experience: Unfortunately I don't have a lot of experience, just the time that I have been on the server (about 2-3 weeks) and the time that I've spent actually playing minecraft (2 years).

Why do you want to be staff for Windermere: Because Windermere is my home. To be honest that is truly the only reason anyone should need. I want the town I live in to reflect the way I feel about it, physically, socially, and aesthetically. Fortunately for me I have the skills to accomplish such a goal. Windermere may not be for everyone (which is why there is an application process), but it is for me (which is why I live there lol).

How long have you been on Noobscraft: For about 2-3 weeks, maybe a month.

How often are you on the server: To be honest, today is the first time I come on in months, but I do plan to be more active.

Past Experience: About a year ago I was Co-Mayor of a large town called Forthwind, and am currently an Admin/Builder on a rather popular factions server. I've participated in the construction of a couple server spawns, and am best at Medieval, Rustic, and Modern. Oh, and did I mention I currently own my own Realms server? if that counts

Why do you want to be staff for Windermere: I'd love to be an Architect for Windermere because I love building and I think I'm pretty good at it

How long have you been on Noobscraft: I first came on around 2 years ago, but once again I drifted away and stopped playing. I do plan to be active now though

Why do you want to be staff for Windermere: Like to help out, like building on big things as well. Would rather do that with others and not just in my wild plot (about 80 chunks there now!) Would think assistant role would be good and maybe in the future could help with some architecture stuff if needed.
