Surely some service level agreement should have kicked in by now.....
or don't those exist in the USA ?
This kind of downtime due to ISP would be unacceptable in Europe.
I'm pretty sure there will soon be a mob of angry American Noobs trying to break down the doors of the Comcast HQ like Mineapoc zombies if they don't get it fixed lol.

Yeah, I would also like to see the /kit food to at the very least increase the time in which it can be used... Maybe once every 2 hours I'd say... Maybe more

If that happened I would have been dead too many times to count XD I still need to finish my volcano farm lol I've been too busy on mining endstone to sell and finding resources for meh future town

The admins are aware and wanting it fixed just as much as the rest of us. It isn't a server issue from what I gather, but something further up the line. Thank you all for your patience and bear with it. May I suggest a book?

What is this mystical thing you call a book o.O

Breaking news: A Panda escaped from the New York Zoo... It is now running around the streets terrorizing people and attacking them with a bamboo pole.

I had it until roughly 18 hours ago... I managed to hold on to it for 3 days. DrewG2001 gave it to me and I handed it off to Duelcon.

While mining in the end, I heard a large sound nearby. A few of my friends and I went to investigate. At first, all anyone saw was the remains of an enderchest that had fallen like a meteorite from a dimension unknown to us. As we looked, the portal bringing it closed. The only thing we found inside was a stick and a message saying this: "Keep it hidden from its owner, or all dimensions of Noobscraftia will be destroyed." My friends took it as a joke, but I knew something was wrong. After my friends had all left, I remained. As I watched, the stick started to glow and levitate, as if its mysterious owner was close. I knew I had to take it or the dire warning would become true. As I took it, I felt energy flowing through me, as never before. It was a sick power though, and something didn't feel right. I was taken by its power, and seeing an enderman, charged at it and slammed into it with the stick stabbing into it. I was teleported, and felt the essence of the enderman flow through the stick into me. I saw myself turned into a form resembling a cloud of smoke, but was still there. The power was becoming too great. I could teleport, but knew I was no longer in control of my own body. I mined for what was months in the other dimensions of Noobscraft, but it felt like minutes to me. Endermen saw me and teleported away faster than an arrow shot from a fully drawn back bow. What remained of me knew I had to pass the stick on, or else it would consume me and destroy the realms. So I said: "the first person who teleports to me gets a prize!". A person teleported, and as soon as I saw him I used every bit of my strength to hurl the stick at him. As he was hit, he was thrown through time and space. I was launched off my feet from the energy of the blast. Days later, I found myself in the ruins of the End. But a sickness had fallen over the realm. As my vision cleared, I saw that the endstone was emitting negative light instead of its usual luster. Then I saw it. The Rift. As I watched, it started to consume the remains of the end. It became more powerful with every chunk it consumed. Endermen were dragged in by its powerful pull. They were drained of their color and turned pale... With red eyes. I started to teleport, but I felt myself being pulled. I realized then that I was back to normal form. I teleported just before the Rift consumed the last part of the End, where I was. I was transported through time into the future, however. I saw as the spawn was consumed in fire. Mobs attacked humans, but they didn't look right. I realized that if the stick wasn't destroyed, this would be the outcome. I was teleported back to the present Noobstown, and had no recollection of any events before this. I recognized faces, but didn't remember their names. And I only had one thought:

The end is coming.

Any chance you can change the timer from 24 hours to 23 or at least 23 and 1/2?  24 causes time creep.

Sell on Friday at 12pm, next day you can't sell till after 12pm so you mine around and manage to do it at 12:30... next day you're stuck waiting till 12:30 and then maybe get it sold at 12:45... etc.

With a number less than 24 you can at least try to set the time of day you want to sell without having to wait a full 24 hour cycle to move it back a little.

Make sense to anyone?

+1

Or, another system that would be useful is having a server wide timer, so say midnight GMT every night, the clock resets. So if you sold one at 11:59 PM GMT, you could sell again at 12:01 since it would be the next day, but then you wouldn't be able to sell again until the next day reset.

Towns & Nations / V6 Week 1 Utopia Progress Update
« on: 13 Feb 2014, 09:55:04 »
Our staff at Utopia have been working hard these past few days to be the first town up and running in V6 (not including Noobscraft) so we can have our town open to the public and ready around the same time other towns are just starting. We are getting close to being able to open it, a little more than half way there if our team pools all its money together. To give you a taste of what we've been doing:

I bought a bat and tested it at spawn on the first day (while they could still fly!)

While exploring for a place for a shared Wildy house between the high ranked staff of Utopia, I ran across this. I think something went wrong while the world was being generated :P

Just a few cool features I found exploring the many nooks and crannies of all of the worlds of Noobscraft:

Yeah... something tell me this zombie had lack of brains even before he got turned into a zombie.

This is what happens when I go out to mine clay. Furnaces will be cooking for a while.

And of course, I couldn't miss the slots :P I think I broke Minecraft playing this (look at the lapis!).

So yeah. That about sums it up for us in week 1. I know you guys have heard this so many times and honestly its starting to get overused, but...

Soon.

Yeah Debo but there is one problem: 16x Diamonds can be sold per day. This will greatly increase the time needed to get a town solely off of selling diamonds. That's why smart players do a mix of selling diamonds and other materials to /shop.

Plot prices etc raised by 10x. So a plot at 350 Nbz rises to 3,500 Nbz. It'll still be just as easy to get and maybe we will even lower prices later on :)

143
Eh whatever they'll be destroyed anyways by combat... It's not like we're gonna be having them lose all diamond stuff

144
Yep... And I keep doing jobs for edixabourin at 20k a job :P

deebles is saying my name in that picture... I feel so popular to have my name on Noobstown front page :) :3

I can say that although I have been disappointed at a few things, the game overall is amazing. I can understand that there will be many bugs in the first week and will continue to faithfully play on the server and help uncover bugs. Until then... I'm going to continue building my house in a volcano :)

Btw Bexn, I may like to take some of those emeralds :)
