Jayjay, some of the people who got veteran have been playing on the server quite long, like Nebih or Miner_Man123456. And besides, as V6 progresses, the new players with the title of Veteran will start to truly be Veterans 
It's just not the same though, you'd have a different mindset if you had Veteran way before this. I know it wont be changed though so that's why I've accepted it, because I need to. And people like Nebih I can understand, he coulda got a special title for being the oldest player or something along the lines of that, or everyone from a certain version, but that wont happen either lol. Veteran was put in place for the VIP players from v4 and prior, it was a way for Foob to keep to his word of getting a lifetime pass of VIP as that was the package back then. I know how things have changed though and I have already been reassured by Foob himself so I really don't need people telling me.
I see why you think this. But as V6 progresses it won't be as bad, and like Foob said, the title will become rarer again as more people join the server and Veterans stop playing

Remember that you will be able to set jobs for people to gather you resources. (I don't know when it will get added but it will)
Not right away though, and I want to open Utopia to my staff on the first weekend. I'll have plenty of people who will be with me though, and after the first 3 hours, I'll have more people

Wow, already 2 votes for Utopia not including me... Let me make that 3 votes I'm hoping for being able to found Utopia within 48 hours of the open (I'll play 12 hours straight on release if I have to, I need to make up for the lack of being able to play for 6 months )... And have Empire up for business (you'll have to order the resources through in game mail or site PM though, since we won't likely have a base of operations set up until at least 3 weeks in).

It's cool and exciting, but it's a shame that the title lost its meaning and that you can't differentiate between the real veterans. It was neater when the title was rare, now it'll be a common sight in chat  .
When the community was much smaller and we had the first wave of veterans, they were very common in comparison to our average playing numbers, over time the rank will become more rare again as we won't be adding any new ones.
So what will be the new way to earn veteran

wait so if there isn't another way to earn it, then the people who just got it will be the last ones ?
Exactly. But then of course when the server was younger and there were many Veterans, everyone thought the same thing.

In future updates, can we also make an alteration to shop chests (if at all possible) to allow people who you designate to also get into the chests?
Like say I'm running a shop and one of my friends has a chest that needs restocking but he isn't able to play for a while. Could you alter it so that I can get in and restock it or does that power reside with the creators of the people who built that plugin?
