Hold on a second... How can you get lit on fire with a COOKIE?
My Top 5 Goals for V6: 1. Be the richest player on the server (maybe even for a day where I have like 20k and the next closest person has like 19k ) 2. Make a town 3. Start a company that provides everything 4. Make a nation 5. Get top of skills and kick butt in Capture the Flag

5. Redstone - I will attempt to try and actually figure out how the new redstone pieces work from the redstone update, since I still haven't made time to practice on it! Anyone willing to teach?
I'll teach you

Dmon, a very long time ago when Noobz was in V5 I remember I joined Townsville! it was epic. When V6 is released I'd be more than happy to lend a hand building Townsville. =D
Townsville may be dead in V6

When I read this title, I was hoping that this would be giving us ideas on what commands and extra perks Veterans would get lol

As a new version approaches I wanted to take a moment to apologize with people, you know who you are. But through the past version I and I am sure others have had arguments with players also. I wanted to say with a new version I hope we all can have a fresh start and get along with each other, a few people I feel a few have been mis understood and led to arguments and I want to end those now.
+1

1.8 adds new blocks such as granite, andesite, and my favorite: Slime blocks. Now slime balls actually have a use outside pistons and brewing! The blocks are bouncy and you take no damage falling on one!

I know. But maybe later on in V6 they may add it to wilderness plots perhaps.
That would be too much stress on the server, although it would be cool

What is a Wilderness plot?
All building in version 6.0 will be in a protection environment, this way we can offer every single one of our community members 99.9% grief protection. When entering the wilderness world for the first time you'll simply type a command which will set your home block, you can type this anywhere out of the spawn region. One protected chunk is 16x16.
Each member will be given 10 Free Chunks of protection, and will be able to buy more as you please. The price for chunks will spiral upwards in price depending on the amount of chunks yo have. This means, the more land you wish to gain the higher the cost will amount. How will you know where your block starts and ends? Is there something visually to represent your chunk/s?
It's probably something like town plots: you walk on the borders of the chunk to see where it says 'unowned' VS you name.

Last I remember hearing the aim was for the server to release between 20-29th. We've seen a lot of progress since then with the maps being released but there's still plenty of information we're missing, not to mention no server update for the month. Things that we still need to hear about: Horse donation info (just general donation info as well) Token Shop info Auction info Release date info Anything else I'm missing?
Hoping we can get a little transparency on what's left to go before launch. I'm sure that will also help assuage some frustration and impatience amongst a lot of us waiting for Noobscraft to come back online
Cheers!
Auction Info + Trailer: http://www.noobscraft.com/server-announcements/auction-preview/The release date was last updated on Jan. 2 with the Happy New Year! thread. Horse Info: http://www.noobscraft.com/guides/v6-guide-horses/In-depth Token Shop info hasn't been released yet, but I think it's safe to assume that it will be similar to the Point Shop of V5. Prices most likely won't be decided until V6, because the prices of the actual server will need to have some relation to the prices in-game. Hope this helped Im getting pretty anxious to get some sort of date myself, missing this server like mad.
I would like a step by step how-to on land claim.
Unless I missed that!
It's a bit out of date, but I hope it provides at least some help to you. http://www.noobscraft.com/server-announcements/version-6-0-new-general-information-and-update/ I would imagine the procedure would be: - Find a chunk you like
- Claim the chunk using (possibly) /claim
That'd probably be it.

I can think of already 1 good reason that i'm happy to have the auction now: Massive FPS drop when entering the market, because of the signs and other stuff like item frames.
Lol yeah I'll second that. But I'm gonna have to be in a town that'll probably give people with normally 200 FPS like 20 xD There'll have to be a sign at spawn saying "Optifine suggested for ALL computers after this point".

You could always build a village within your town and get some iron golems.
They don't kill players though. And Olah,
is that me I see at the head of that group of Stonehal soldiers?

Part of the coding for the image was missing... Let me fix that
Ah, that's better These are some nice drawings BTW

Maybe you could 'ban' ppl from ur town, and the guards would kill anyone who was banned who comes. You shld get them when you reach a certain amount of residents maybe. It might be cool
That would be awesome. Or if the admins implemented Towny Wars to V6, (maybe a suggestion after towns reach so many members?) the guards protect against members of the enemy town! That would be a sight to see, 50 armed guards chasing a guy trying to get food from a shop

Iron Golhm Generators are not allowed and are seen as exploitation.( I already Asked)
I dont really see whats wrong with iron golem generator, its like saying we cant have a cow farm but the drops are different, and does this mean we cant have gold farms?
Any type of exploitative farms that will alter the economy or give you an unfair advantage over other players aren't allowed... Waterworth is the person to ask if you have questions on any specifics
I dont really get how its an advantage over other players they can make one too.
But you do understand how drastically it will change the economy, right?
Adrian is right, an ironfarm will affect the market much more than a cowfarm (see attachment). So it is for the common good if some types of autofarms are not allowed.
There is also another aspect: Cowfarms were intended/accepted by Mojang and this server. Irongolemfarms were not, that's why mojang even announced somewhere that they plan to remove that in a future patch. So it is an exploit of something unplanned by Mojang and those things are always considered "unwanted" on the server.
Maybe we will get a comment on this "stating if any"/"which types of" autofarms are actually allowed.
However it might be a good idea to not explain how to build them openly on the forum to not confuse anyone into thinking that they are allowed because they are explained here (unfortunately some people don't really read all off the thread).
That's a good point, and after reading the attachment, I realize it would especially affect people who rely on their shops to make them money.

Nope, they never planned on adding a market district for a few reasons:
- The new auction system is much easier and things can be tracked/monitored
- Your plot on the market gave you an unfair advantage in marketing
- Most players do not enjoy running shop to shop
1 and 3 are agreed with, but having the market district shop wasn't unfair, mainly because of the huge amount of work needed for upkeep of it. If you worked hard then the upkeep wasn't that much of a problem. The people who work hard are usually the ones who get the benefits (or should get the benefits at least). More dedication=more money=a place for your shop in Noobstown

And how would an iron golem generator work? Putting 15 villagers close together?
